Apartment rentals Will be in Paris in April. We find it difficult to find affordable lodging in Europe for our family, we have 3 teenage kids. Most hotels here are boutiquey and too formal. Would love a list of american style hotels with internet and pay per view movies to allow down time in the evenings. If not then a list of apartment rentals that acccomodate a family of 5! Any info would be helpful. Thank you. Submitted By: Deirdre Collins

Passports Hi! I really like your Guide. One thing that I do regarding passports is scan a copy to a file and email that file (attachment) to myself. That way, I can access it anywhere in the world that has the internet and can never lose the copy. Justin. Submitted By: Justin Clayton

catacombs closed/ advisory We tried to visit the catacombs a few weeks ago and found that they were closed due to vandalism, of all things. If we only had professor's website to refer to at the time! Submitted By: monica collins

Paris Tour Hi Prof. Solosky, I attended your Paris Guide class last week. I know you are going on a group tour in January. Are you planning another group tour to France in 2010? I rather go on a tour to see France than go by myself because I never visited France. Thank you. Teresa Submitted By: Teresa Versace-Rauch

The FREE Traveling Professor's Guide to Paris
My personal guide to Paris is 28 pages in length.   I think the strength of the guide is that not only just does it tell you what you need to know about traveling to Paris, but it leaves out what you don't need to know.

The guide
has been compiled through my many trips to Paris in recent years.    Over time, I have made many discoveries and new friends in the City of Light.   I have visited virtually every attraction, visited nearly every hotel, and eaten at most of the restaurants listed in the guide.   I give my personal recommendations as well as my opinions.  In the rare instances that I have not personally visited a place mentioned in the guide, the source of that reference is highly reliable.

With this publication I show you some of my favorite spots.  I give you valuable insight on how to make your vacation to Paris and France enjoyable and enriching.   I have included useful money-saving tips that will let you enjoy this City of Eternal Love without sacrificing luxury or comfort.  There are things listed in the guide that you will not find in any other printed guidebook.

One of the best things about the guide is that it is downloaded by you as an MS-Word document.  You can print it as many times as you like.  You can also click on one of the hundreds of links listed in the guide to get the most up-to-date and current information available.  Try getting that on any of the printed guides.
