art /food/ fashion Headed there next year for extended intermittent stay. So most interested in frugal hostelries, good food as the Paisians eat it not that for tourists only and interesting sights.... Submitted By: moyra elliott

undiscovered Paris Do venture to the l9th and 20th arrondissements in the northeastern corner of Paris. Not a tourist in sight and very good hotels and Parisian to the fingertips. The magic of the Buttes Chaumont park as fake as ever Las Vegas with dramatic scenery artificial water fall, a lake a rocky island and fancy bridges a number of large pelouses for picnics on nice days, wonderfully well kept closes at 10 pm. Discover the streets outside the upper part of the park and the food street of rue de Belleville. Easily reached by bus and metro and perfect for staying. Submitted By: kerstin hallert

The FREE Traveling Professor's Guide to Paris
My personal guide to Paris is 28 pages in length.   I think the strength of the guide is that not only just does it tell you what you need to know about traveling to Paris, but it leaves out what you don't need to know.

The guide
has been compiled through my many trips to Paris in recent years.    Over time, I have made many discoveries and new friends in the City of Light.   I have visited virtually every attraction, visited nearly every hotel, and eaten at most of the restaurants listed in the guide.   I give my personal recommendations as well as my opinions.  In the rare instances that I have not personally visited a place mentioned in the guide, the source of that reference is highly reliable.

With this publication I show you some of my favorite spots.  I give you valuable insight on how to make your vacation to Paris and France enjoyable and enriching.   I have included useful money-saving tips that will let you enjoy this City of Eternal Love without sacrificing luxury or comfort.  There are things listed in the guide that you will not find in any other printed guidebook.

One of the best things about the guide is that it is downloaded by you as an MS-Word document.  You can print it as many times as you like.  You can also click on one of the hundreds of links listed in the guide to get the most up-to-date and current information available.  Try getting that on any of the printed guides.
