Re: Paris Travel Guide Problems think I solved it. I "right-clicked" on the link and saved it first, then opened it. That seemed to work. Submitted By: Sharon Taylor

Paris Travel Guide Problems When I try to download and save the free Paris travel guide, I click on "Enable Editing" in order to save it. Then, it disappears and gives me a message that I don't have permission to view it. Is there no way to actually save it to my computer? Submitted By: Sharon Taylor

Musee de la Musique Hi--Enjoyed reading the Guide to Paris and noticed your comment on Pg. 18 regarding the Musee de la Musique. I highly recomend the Musee de la Musique--an outstanding collection of instruments, well displayed and beautifully maintained. The audio tour describes the instruments, and provides a sample of how the instrument sounds. The harp collection is outstanding, and the harpsichords were equally wonderful. While I was visiting, a demonstration concert was played on one of the harpsichords. Wonderful. Submitted By: Laurie Casselman

Hotel du College de France I thoroughly enjoyed your book and have recommended it to friends. I was particularly happy to learn that you are fond of Hotel du College de France. I discovered HCF about 12 years ago. It has become my "home away from home" while I am in Paris. Regards, Ron Sellers San Antonio, Texas ronsell@aol.com Submitted By: Ronald Sellers

hi, I’m going to Paris with two friends for 4 days last month, and it’s so big ! there are so many choices ! fortunately arriving at the airport a taxi gave me a number of a company who organizes everything (restaurant, VIP nightclub access, hôtel or apartement, car rental…) and they have really good advice and ideas… Is the Parisian team, the advice is necessarily good their website is : myeliteparty.com and they can make you stay tailored to your desires at least is the reassurance to be in the best place at the best time Arold Submitted By: Arold

Paris Hello, Professor! We have just returned from 2 weeks in Paris; stayed on the Left Bank next to Brasserie Lipp. I could write a few reviews of restaurants, music events, off beat stuff, and such if they would be useful to you. Please let me know. Submitted By: Jane McPherson

The FREE Traveling Professor's Guide to Paris
My personal guide to Paris is 28 pages in length.   I think the strength of the guide is that not only just does it tell you what you need to know about traveling to Paris, but it leaves out what you don't need to know.

The guide
has been compiled through my many trips to Paris in recent years.    Over time, I have made many discoveries and new friends in the City of Light.   I have visited virtually every attraction, visited nearly every hotel, and eaten at most of the restaurants listed in the guide.   I give my personal recommendations as well as my opinions.  In the rare instances that I have not personally visited a place mentioned in the guide, the source of that reference is highly reliable.

With this publication I show you some of my favorite spots.  I give you valuable insight on how to make your vacation to Paris and France enjoyable and enriching.   I have included useful money-saving tips that will let you enjoy this City of Eternal Love without sacrificing luxury or comfort.  There are things listed in the guide that you will not find in any other printed guidebook.

One of the best things about the guide is that it is downloaded by you as an MS-Word document.  You can print it as many times as you like.  You can also click on one of the hundreds of links listed in the guide to get the most up-to-date and current information available.  Try getting that on any of the printed guides.
