The Paris Museum Pass is a must-have while in Paris.  You’ve heard me talk about it here before.  I like the no-wait-in-line admission and I think it is a bargain at 69 euros for 6 days of unlimited use.

The Hop-On/Hop-Off bus is a great way to see Paris.   I recommend a 2-day pass for when you arrive in Paris.  It takes you to all the major sites and a big advantage is that you get to see Paris from street-level as opposed to traveling on the metro.

The Paris Visite Pass is a 5-day transporation pass on all metros, busses, and even the funicular so you can avoid the steep walk up the hill to Sacre Coeur.

You can purchase all of these passes individually.   But there is a company at GetYourGuide.Com where you can buy the whole package at once.   They will even throw in a Paris guide book and these bonuses:

  • Paris River Cruise
  • Wine Tasting Experience
  • Paris Opera House
  • The Grevin Wax Museum
  • Montparnasse Tower
  • Dali Museum

Again, if you ran all over the place you might save a few dollars, but another advantage to purchasing the Paris Pass GetYourGuide.Com is that they also provide a 3-day cancellation policy.

Italy Video Blog: Romantic Venice
On our last small group tour of Italy, about half the group (4 of us) took a 2-day extension of the trip to Venice.   It exceeed my expectations in that it is more romantic than I could have possibly imagined.   Venice is one of those unique places on earth because it really is a city built into the sea.
