Here are my favorite hotels under $150 in Paris
Hotel du College de France: I stayed for one week in this hotel in the Latin Quarter. It is on a quiet street. The room I stayed in had a small balcony facing the street, tall ceilings, and plenty of light. I don’t think an interior decorator has ever visited this hotel, but otherwise, it met my needs. Web site: http://www.hotel-collegedefrance.com/
Hotel St.-Pierre: It is going to be difficult to beat the location of this place, even if you are staying in a 4-star luxe hotel. It is right off boulevard St. Germain near the Odeon metro station. The staff can be helpful. There is free wireless internet. Some rooms have A/C, a rarity with 2-star hotels. The negatives to this hotel is that the rooms, especially the bathrooms, are small. I am staying here on my next trip to Paris. Web site: http://www.saintpierre-hotel.com/
Hotel Chopin: This is an interesting hotel located in an arcade off boulevard Montmartre near the Opera (Palais) Garnier. It is around the corner from my favorite restaurant, Chartier. The rooms are nicely decorated and you will feel at home here. It is cozy (yes, that means small) but welcoming. I was impressed by the value afforded by the Chopin. Web site: http://www.hotelchopin.fr/
Hotel Jeanne d’Arc: This hotel is located in the Marais district. It’s been recently renovated and comes highly recommended (I have not visited this hotel). It’s got some of that Old World charm and a little bit of funkiness added into it. It is nicely decorated and some of the rooms are a bit larger than what you expect from a 2-star hotel. Website: http://www.hoteljeannedarc.com
Hotel Montpensier: Here is a hotel with a great location, just steps from the Louvre. It’s been recently renovated and it gets great reviews from those who have stayed there. I have not personally visited the hotel but it has come highly recommended from reliable sources and I suggest that you consider it when looking for budget accommodations. Website: http://www.hotelmontpensierparis.com
Hotel Tiquetonne: This hotel was recommended to me by several people as being the best bargain in Paris- it might cost you under $100 a night to stay here. It’s in a good location near Les Halles and the Montorgueil market. Be aware that it is close to rue St. Denis. While it is not a dangerous area, it is a bit seedy. The other downside is there is no website. I looked at some reviews and photos of the hotel. Although I am not sure I would stay at this one-star, hard-core budget travelers will love it. The address of the hotel is 6, rue Tiquetonne and the phone number is 01-42-36-94-58.

Seeking a bit of timeshare relief can be very easy if you find the right people to help you. If you have tried to sell a timeshare in the past, you know that the resale market is dead and the only way to cancel a timeshare is through the right people.

If you are visiting Paris for the first time, a time share rental is the perfect lodging option – time shares are more spacious than comparable hotels but similar in price. And after you've visited the City of Lights once, you just may consider purchasing a time share resale so that you can own vacation property in the world's most romantic city!
