At first glance it looks like a good deal, but right up front the traveler needs to at taxes and fees of $265. Whey don't they just say it is going to cost $1,264 then?
The second condition of the "deal" is that the dates are restricted: Jan. 4, 11, 18, 25, Feb. 1, 15, 22, 2012 ($999); add from $30 for Nov. 16, 23, Dec. 14, 2011; from $40 for Dec. 7, 2011; from $50 for Mar. 7, 2012; from $80 for Nov. 30, 2011, Feb. 8, 2012; from $100 for Feb. 29, 2012; from $130 for Dec. 28, 2011; from $140 for Nov. 9, 2011; from $170 for Mar. 14, 21, 2012; from $180 for Dec. 21, 2011; from $230 for Nov. 2, 2011.
January and February can be OK in London and Paris, it will be chilly but there are no crowds there.
I looked at the two hotels, the Kyriad in Bercy Village is located on the outskirts of Paris but it accessible by the high-speed metro line. The hotel is rated #586 on TripAdvisor.Com and gets mixed reviews. The London at Central Park Hotel is rated #548 and also gets mixed reviews.
During low periods in London and Paris, travelers can get super rates on excellent hotels. For instance, in Paris I know the 3-star, well-reviewd and well-located Belloy St Germain in Paris has super specials that will be under $200 per night per room with breakfast. Similar and better deals are available at other hotels. In fact, through Priceline I got a great 4-star hotel in central London a few winters ago for $60 - that's right - $60 per room.
The "deal" also makes no mention of how the traveler gets from London to Paris. An advance purchase Eurostar "chunnel" train ticket can be had for about $65 to $148, depending upon time of departure.
Airfares can be good. A quick search on www.itasoftware.com found flights in January costing from $730.
So, is it a good deal? I think you can do much better if you book your own flights and look for bargains on the hotels.

They don't specify who it's a good deal for. In this case it's a good deal for vendor, just like all the junk mail that say " important informatoin, open immediately". I'm sure that information is important to the sender. Just my silly way of justifying all of the information overload.

I must say that generally I’m really impressed with this writing. If you plan your trip to Paris you could check the Paris metro system for traveling within Paris city. Also check the Paris travel guide when planning your trip. Keep up the good work and I’ll return for more! Cheers!

| Italy Video Blog: Romantic Venice
|
|
|
|
|
On our last small group tour of Italy, about half the group (4 of us) took a 2-day extension of the trip to Venice. It exceeed my expectations in that it is more romantic than I could have possibly imagined. Venice is one of those unique places on earth because it really is a city built into the sea.
