La Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie Métro: Porte de la Villette
This is one of the largest and most impressive science and industry museums in the world. It is modern, entertaining, informative, and interactive. Children and adults alike will be astounded. Musée des Arts et Métiers Métro: Arts et Métiers or Réaumur-Sébastopol
Not as entertaining as la Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie. However, it is filled with fascinating historical artifacts of science, technology, architecture, and science. You will be awed and surprised. This is truly a hidden gem of Paris and if you have any interest at all in technology and science, do not miss it. Closed Monday. Palais de la Découverte Métro: Champs Elysées-Clemenceau or Franklin-D.-Roosevelt
Geared more towards students, it is located right off the Champs-Élysées, this. There are exhibits on Astronomy, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences, Life Sciences, and Astrophysics.
Musée de l’Informatique Métro: La Défense
In short, it is an exhibit on the history of computing. There are displays of old computing devices and an exhibit on the history of the Internet and the World Wide Web. There are also stunning views of Paris from the top of the Grande Arche. Website: http://www.museeinformatique.fr/
Palais Découverte Métro: Champs Elysées-Clemenceau or Franklin-D.-Roosevelt
This museum focuses on six areas: Mathematics, Astronomy, Geosciences, Physics, Life Sciences, and Chemistry. There is also a planetarium. It is extremely interesting but not quite as well done as the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie. There are also fewer explanations in English. They do however, have a good observatory/planetarium.
