The weather cannot be better for our first full day in Paris. It is in the mid-60's with a light wind and blustery clouds in the sky. It is more or less a "free day" in Paris. Some of our travelers have decided to re-visit some of the sites on the itinerary and some have decided to go to places that we did not cover on the itinerary. I am very impressed that even those who were the most timid travelers at the beginning of the week are bold enough to take the metro/subway on their own to explore Paris.
We had our last meal together at a quaint French Alps restaurant. We dined on dishes like steak au poivre, coq a vin, trout, quiche, duck, and onion soup. We capped off our trip with a final riverboat cruise down the Seine River just as the sun was setting. I could see the looks on our travelers faces, with the twinkling Eiffel Tower in the background, that this was a week that they will remember for a long time.

I must say that overall I am really impressed with this article. If you are flying to Paris you can check the Paris airports for transfer to Paris guide and general information. If your destination is Charles de Gaulle Airport check the airport tranfser to Paris options. The fastest and cheapest transfer mode is using the RER train line B (Blue)

On our last small group tour of Italy, about half the group (4 of us) took a 2-day extension of the trip to Venice. It exceeed my expectations in that it is more romantic than I could have possibly imagined. Venice is one of those unique places on earth because it really is a city built into the sea.
