It was a cold weekend in Philadelphia but that did not chill the enthusiasm for the crowd that visited the show.  There were a hundred or so booths, I would say.   I could only think of one or two other vendors who featured traveling to Europe other than mine.

I had a chance to meet with Arthur Frommer.  He came by and got a copy of my book, “The Traveling Professor’s Guide to Paris”.   The “Grannies on Safari”, Regina Fraser and Pat Johnson stopped by.   They host a travel program on PBS.

But it was great fun to talk about Paris and Italy to all of those who came by.   People are impressed by how we do our “non-corporate, no-tour-bus” guided trips and in fact, we had quite a few people decide to join us on our next small group tours to Paris and Italy.
